VERNEDCT: Resource-efficient power distribution network through DC technology

The distribution of electrical energy is a challenge of the energy transition. In order to achieve a higher utilization of the network infrastructure, a conversion to direct current is being researched in this project of the TU Ilmenau with the support of the Carl Zeiss Foundation.
