This year we took the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to offi\u00adci\u00adal\u00adly open our rese\u00adarch pro\u00adject <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carl-zeiss-stiftung.de\/en\/topics-projects\/project-overview\/detail\/vernedct\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.carl-zeiss-stiftung.de\/en\/topics-projects\/project-overview\/detail\/vernedct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cResour\u00adce-effi\u00adci\u00adent ener\u00adgy dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon net\u00adwork using DC tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy Ver\u00adneDCt\u201d<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p>During the gui\u00added tours offe\u00adred, the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to see the labo\u00adra\u00adto\u00adries of the Thu\u00adrin\u00adgi\u00adan Ener\u00adgy Rese\u00adarch Insti\u00adtu\u00adte and, in par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlar, the enti\u00adre pro\u00adcess chain: from \u201cener\u00adgy gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon\u201d at our char\u00adging park to the \u201ctest stand\u201d in our machi\u00adne hall and \u201ccon\u00adtrol and manage\u00adment of ener\u00adgy dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon\u201d in our dyna\u00admic con\u00adtrol room.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"515\" src=\"https:\/\/vernedct.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/vernedct-fuehrung-tu-ilmenau-1-1024x515.jpg\" alt=\"Group of people standing behind and in front of a glass room divider and looking at a large screen\" class=\"wp-image-477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vernedct.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/vernedct-fuehrung-tu-ilmenau-1-1024x515.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vernedct.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/vernedct-fuehrung-tu-ilmenau-1-300x151.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vernedct.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/vernedct-fuehrung-tu-ilmenau-1-768x386.jpg 768w, https:\/\/vernedct.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/vernedct-fuehrung-tu-ilmenau-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"><\/figure>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vernedct.de\/en\/partner\/\">Six groups<\/a> with around 20 employees are invol\u00adved in the pro\u00adject. A sepa\u00adra\u00adte room with 10 work\u00adsta\u00adtions has been crea\u00adted for inter\u00addi\u00adsci\u00adpli\u00adna\u00adry col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon.
